This artwork by Marcelle Ferron achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2011. In the Important Canadian Art auction, the work without title sold for CAD 94,500.00 (€ 67,851.21) - well above the upper estimate of CAD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcelle Ferron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2010 with an auction result of CAD 485,500.00 (€ 372,410.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcelle Ferron erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in Toronto einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Canadian Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für CAD 94.500,00 (€ 67.851,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CAD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcelle Ferron auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 485.500,00 (€ 372.410,22).
