This artwork by Marcelle Ferron achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Toronto in June 2010. In the Important Canadian Art auction, the work without title sold for CAD 485,500.00 (€ 372,410.22) - well above the upper estimate of CAD 250,000.00. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Marcelle Ferron that we have observed at auctions so far.
