The work Caravane by Marcelle Ferron was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2011. It achieved a price of CAD 33,000.00 (€ 23,694.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcelle Ferron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2010 with an auction result of CAD 485,500.00 (€ 372,410.22).

Die Arbeit Caravane von Marcelle Ferron wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CAD 33.000,00 (€ 23.694,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcelle Ferron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 485.500,00 (€ 372.410,22).
