Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nu Avec Serviette Aux Poissons, 2001 by Marc Desgrandchamps was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2009. The price achieved of EUR 3,825.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marc Desgrandchamps have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 35,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nu Avec Serviette Aux Poissons, 2001 von Marc Desgrandchamps wurde im Dezember 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.825,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Desgrandchamps auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.050,00.
