This artwork by Marc Baets achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October last year. In the Collections auction, the work Paysages De Rivière Animés De Personnages sold for EUR 3,024.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Marc Baets have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Villagers on a track in a river landscape in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 14,100.00 (€ 24,100.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marc Baets erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collections wurde die Arbeit Paysages De Rivière Animés De Personnages für EUR 3.024,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Baets auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Villagers on a track in a river landscape im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.100,00 (€ 24.100,93).
