However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marc Baets - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Villagers on a track in a river landscape, which sold at auction in October 2000 for GBP 14,100.00 (€ 24,100.93).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.821,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%.
