This work of art by Manuel Rendón could be acquired at Christies in Paris in June 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the TABLEAUX D'AMERIQUE LATINE auction, the work L'exploration changed hands for EUR 38,240.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, L'exploration is the most expensive artwork by Manuel Rendón that we have observed at auction so far.
