Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paysage Tropical by Manuel Rendón was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,250.00 (€ 16,361.26). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manuel Rendón - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'exploration, which sold at auction in June 2004 for EUR 38,240.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paysage Tropical von Manuel Rendón wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 21.250,00 (€ 16.361,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Manuel Rendón mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'exploration beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für EUR 38.240,00 versteigert wurde.
