This work of art by Manuel Rendón could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art including Russian and Latin American Art auction, the work Caballeros; Les Aventuriers (Indios Con Caballo): Two Works changed hands for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,353.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manuel Rendón have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'exploration in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 38,240.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Manuel Rendón konnte im Oktober 2009 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art including Russian and Latin American Art wechselte die Arbeit Caballeros; Les Aventuriers (Indios Con Caballo): Two Works für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.353,78) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel Rendón auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'exploration im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.240,00.
