This work without title by Manierre Dawson was sold in the Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction at Christies in New York in November 2007. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 51,400.00 (€ 34,994.55). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manierre Dawson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trees on Red Rocks, which sold at auction in November 2018 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,276.34).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manierre Dawson wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 51.400,00 (€ 34.994,55) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Manierre Dawson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Trees on Red Rocks beobachtet, die im November 2018 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 77.276,34) versteigert wurde.
