This artwork by Manierre Dawson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in June 2016. In the American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Three Trees sold for USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,262.15) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manierre Dawson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trees on Red Rocks in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,276.34).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Manierre Dawson erzielte im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture wurde die Arbeit Three Trees für USD 21.250,00 (€ 19.262,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manierre Dawson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trees on Red Rocks im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 77.276,34).
