It achieved a price of USD 16,800.00 (€ 13,839.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Admittedly, works by Manierre Dawson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trees on Red Rocks in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,276.34).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manierre Dawson kam im März 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 16.800,00 (€ 13.839,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manierre Dawson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trees on Red Rocks im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 77.276,34).
