Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2014 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Manabu Mabe for USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,495.60). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Manabu Mabe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 75,373.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2014 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manabu Mabe für USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.495,60) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manabu Mabe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 75.373,85).
