Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary, which included the work Ta-So-Ga-Re by Manabu Mabe. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,492.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manabu Mabe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 75,373.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ta-So-Ga-Re von Manabu Mabe zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.492,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Manabu Mabe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 93.750,00 (€ 75.373,85) versteigert wurde.
