Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Plan Of The Ants - Red No. 1 by Ma Han for USD 438.00 (€ 345.75). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Han achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plan Of The Ants - Red in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 487,500.00 (€ 49,588.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Plan Of The Ants - Red No. 1 von Ma Han für USD 438,00 (€ 345,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Han erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plan Of The Ants - Red im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 487.500,00 (€ 49.588,00).
