Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work One And Many No. 1, 2, 3, 4 (Set Of Four) by Ma Han for HKD 1,875.00 (€ 220.65). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Han achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plan Of The Ants - Red in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 487,500.00 (€ 49,588.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit One And Many No. 1, 2, 3, 4 (Set Of Four) von Ma Han für HKD 1.875,00 (€ 220,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Han erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plan Of The Ants - Red im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 487.500,00 (€ 49.588,00).
