Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bicho invertebrado by Lygia Clark was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,865,000.00 (€ 1,370,718.80). Other works by Lygia Clark have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 2,225,000.00 (€ 1,713,119.80) in May 2013 for the work Contra Relevo (Objeto N. 7).

Die Arbeit Bicho invertebrado von Lygia Clark kam im November 2013 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.865.000,00 (€ 1.370.718,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Lygia Clark haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.225.000,00 (€ 1.713.119,80) im Mai 2013 für die Arbeit Contra Relevo (Objeto N. 7) beobachtet.
