Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nestled Barns by Luigi Lucioni was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 62,500.00 (€ 57,313.16). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Lucioni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Checkered Tablecloth, which sold at auction in November 2018 for USD 150,000.00 (€ 132,473.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nestled Barns von Luigi Lucioni wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 62.500,00 (€ 57.313,16) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Lucioni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Checkered Tablecloth beobachtet, die im November 2018 für USD 150.000,00 (€ 132.473,73) versteigert wurde.
