Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,260.34). Admittedly, works by Ludolf de Jongh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a boy, full-length, in a gold-embroidered grey costume with a feathered hat and a cane, his hand on the head of a lurcher, with a garden seen through the door behind in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 102,140.80).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.260,34) einen neuen Besitzer.
