Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Porträt eines Edelmannes. 1651. by Ludolf de Jongh was sold in the Gemälde Alter Meister auction at Koller in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of CHF 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CHF 7,500.00 (€ 7,556.57). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ludolf de Jongh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a boy, full-length, in a gold-embroidered grey costume with a feathered hat and a cane, his hand on the head of a lurcher, with a garden seen through the door behind in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 102,140.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Porträt eines Edelmannes. 1651. von Ludolf de Jongh wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Gemälde Alter Meister bei Koller versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CHF 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CHF 7.500,00 (€ 7.556,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ludolf de Jongh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a boy, full-length, in a gold-embroidered grey costume with a feathered hat and a cane, his hand on the head of a lurcher, with a garden seen through the door behind im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 97.250,00 (€ 102.140,80).
