In June 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work An Interior With A Maid Holding A Jug And Three Men Beside A Fire by Ludolf de Jongh. Here, the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 111,750.00 (€ 85,895.47). Other works by Ludolf de Jongh have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 102,140.80) in December 2008 for the work Portrait of a boy, full-length, in a gold-embroidered grey costume with a feathered hat and a cane, his hand on the head of a lurcher, with a garden seen through the door behind.
