Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Illustration for Unpublished Text by Lucy McKenzie was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2018. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,965.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucy McKenzie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Olga Korbut in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 317,000.00 (€ 353,147.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Illustration for Unpublished Text von Lucy McKenzie kam im April 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.965,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucy McKenzie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Olga Korbut im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 317.000,00 (€ 353.147,60).
