Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lucy McKenzie could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Tin Tin changed hands for GBP 438.00 (€ 498.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucy McKenzie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Olga Korbut in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 317,000.00 (€ 353,147.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucy McKenzie konnte im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Tin Tin für GBP 438,00 (€ 498,84) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucy McKenzie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Olga Korbut im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 317.000,00 (€ 353.147,60).
