The work Festival Ii by Lucy McKenzie was sold in the First Open/LDN auction at Christies in London in September 2015. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,156.78), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucy McKenzie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Olga Korbut in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 317,000.00 (€ 353,147.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Festival Ii von Lucy McKenzie wurde im September 2015 in der Auktion First Open/LDN bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.156,78) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucy McKenzie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Olga Korbut im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 317.000,00 (€ 353.147,60).
