Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lucy Bull achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in March this year. In the New Now auction, the work without title sold for USD 45,720.00 (€ 42,052.98) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucy Bull achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 8:50 in June last year with an auction result of HKD 11,382,000.00 (€ 1,385,105.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucy Bull erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 45.720,00 (€ 42.052,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucy Bull erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 8:50 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.382.000,00 (€ 1.385.105,36).
