Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Untitled (Green) by Lucy Bull. The price achieved of USD 69,300.00 (€ 67,131.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucy Bull achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 8:50 in June last year with an auction result of HKD 11,382,000.00 (€ 1,385,105.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Green) von Lucy Bull zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 67.131,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucy Bull erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 8:50 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.382.000,00 (€ 1.385.105,36).
