Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Luciano Fabro could be acquired at Christies in Milan in April 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Milan Modern and Contemporary auction, the work Bonjour Monsieur Cézanne changed hands for EUR 27,409.80 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 40,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luciano Fabro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,714,500.00 (€ 3,796,907.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luciano Fabro konnte im April 2014 bei Christies in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary wechselte die Arbeit Bonjour Monsieur Cézanne für EUR 27.409,80 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 40.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luciano Fabro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italia dell’emigrante (Italy of the Emigrant) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.714.500,00 (€ 3.796.907,49).
