Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Panoramic River Landscape With Judah And Tamar by Lucas Gassel was sold in the Old Master & British Pictures Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in December 2014. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 110,500.00 (€ 142,250.14). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucas Gassel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Place forte dans un paysage d'hiver, which sold at auction in November last year for EUR 419,840.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Panoramic River Landscape With Judah And Tamar von Lucas Gassel wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Old Master & British Pictures Evening Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 110.500,00 (€ 142.250,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucas Gassel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Place forte dans un paysage d'hiver beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für EUR 419.840,00 versteigert wurde.
