Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lucas Arruda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in April 2021. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction, the work without title sold for GBP 170,100.00 (€ 195,664.49) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucas Arruda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 420,297.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucas Arruda erzielte im April 2021 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 170.100,00 (€ 195.664,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucas Arruda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo beobachtet, die im November 2021 für HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 420.297,69) versteigert wurde.
