In October 2017 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Tigre by Luca Pignatelli. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,229.16), 42% above the upper estimate. Other works by Luca Pignatelli have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 39,900.00 in May 2013 for the work Afroditesigned, Titled And Dated 2007 On The Reverse; Oil On Canvas.
