Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work San Martino by Luca Pignatelli. The auction ended at the price of EUR 12,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luca Pignatelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Afroditesigned, Titled And Dated 2007 On The Reverse; Oil On Canvas, which sold at auction in May 2013 for EUR 39,900.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit San Martino von Luca Pignatelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 12.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luca Pignatelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Afroditesigned, Titled And Dated 2007 On The Reverse; Oil On Canvas beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für EUR 39.900,00 versteigert wurde.
