In May 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Post -War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Flower, Bird, Insect, and Fish (Fish Series) by Lu Hao. The »bidding war« ended at USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,759.83), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lu Hao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 50,400.00 (€ 74,791.07).

Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post -War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flower, Bird, Insect, and Fish (Fish Series) von Lu Hao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.759,83) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lu Hao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 50.400,00 (€ 74.791,07) versteigert wurde.
