Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Misty Landscape by Lu Hao was worth HKD 49,560.00 (€ 5,659.09) to a buyer in May 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Hao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 74,791.07).

Die Arbeit Misty Landscape von Lu Hao war einem Käufer im Mai 2017 HKD 49.560,00 (€ 5.659,09) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Hao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 74.791,07).
