Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape Series No. 24 by Lu Hao for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,745.72). This price was achieved in the auction The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Lu Hao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 74,791.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape Series No. 24 von Lu Hao für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.745,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Hao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 74.791,07).
