Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Kiss Off by Louise Fishman. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,133.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louise Fishman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Burnt Bridges in March last year with an auction result of USD 201,600.00 (€ 181,736.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kiss Off von Louise Fishman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.133,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louise Fishman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Burnt Bridges im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 181.736,23).
