It changed hands for a price of USD 2,422.50 (€ 2,052.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Louis Icart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elegante Et Fillette Au Levrier in March 2009 with an auction result of EUR 19,126.00.
