Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Louis Legrand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2012. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work La Petite Classe sold for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,132.36) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Legrand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Danseuses Saluant, which sold at auction in June 2016 for EUR 22,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Legrand erzielte im April 2012 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wurde die Arbeit La Petite Classe für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.132,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Legrand mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Danseuses Saluant beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert wurde.
