Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Réveil by Louis Legrand was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in May 2020. The price achieved of EUR 9,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Legrand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Danseuses Saluant, which sold at auction in June 2016 for EUR 22,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Réveil von Louis Legrand kam im Mai 2020 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Legrand mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Danseuses Saluant beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert wurde.
