Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Louis Legrand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March 2021. In the 19th Century and British Impressionist Art auction, the work L'aperitif sold for GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,193.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Louis Legrand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Danseuses Saluant in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Legrand erzielte im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art wurde die Arbeit L'aperitif für GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.193,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Legrand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Danseuses Saluant im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
