A top price for Lou Stoumen - as previously expected
The work Forty Years: Lou Stoumen by Lou Stoumen was sold in the PHOTOGRAPHS auction at Phillips in New York in October 2010. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,197.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Forty Years: Lou Stoumen is the most expensive artwork by Lou Stoumen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Forty Years: Lou Stoumen von Lou Stoumen wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.197,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Forty Years: Lou Stoumen das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lou Stoumen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
