Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Thm (Milano) by Loris Cecchini. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,590.02), 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Loris Cecchini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stage Evidence (Untitled), which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 23,050.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Thm (Milano) von Loris Cecchini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.590,02) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Loris Cecchini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stage Evidence (Untitled) beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 23.050,00 versteigert wurde.
