A top price for Lloyd Ullberg - as previously expected
In October 2000 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, including Property from the Collection of, which included the work Philadelphia by Lloyd Ullberg. The price achieved of USD 2,350.00 (€ 2,769.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Philadelphia is the most expensive artwork by Lloyd Ullberg that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs, including Property from the Collection of durch, in der auch die Arbeit Philadelphia von Lloyd Ullberg zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.350,00 (€ 2.769,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Philadelphia das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lloyd Ullberg, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
