Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Street from Camden Bridge, Philadelphia, c. 1933-35 by Lloyd Ullberg was sold in the Photographs From The Estate of Thomas T. Solley auction at Christies in New York in February 2007. The price achieved of USD 1,800.00 (€ 1,360.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lloyd Ullberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Philadelphia, which sold at auction in October 2000 for USD 2,350.00 (€ 2,769.27).
