Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Philadelphia, 1935 by Lloyd Ullberg for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,192.83). This price was achieved in the auction Crossing America: Photographs from the Consolidated Freightways Collection, Part I at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Lloyd Ullberg have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2000 by the work Philadelphia at USD 2,350.00 (€ 2,769.27).
