The work Autumn Landscape After Li Cheng by Liu Du was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 44,129.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liu Du - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Landscape, which sold at auction in November 2011 for HKD 1,220,000.00 (€ 116,713.00).

Die Arbeit Autumn Landscape After Li Cheng von Liu Du kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 44.129,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Liu Du mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Landscape beobachtet, die im November 2011 für HKD 1.220.000,00 (€ 116.713,00) versteigert wurde.
