It achieved a price of USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,659.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Admittedly, works by Liu Bolin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Hand in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 46,915.17).

Die Arbeit Hiding in the City, Paris, 10, Liberty Leading the People von Liu Bolin wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.659,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Bolin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Hand im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 46.915,17).
