In November 2019 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Hiding in the City #54", 2007 by Liu Bolin. The result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,684.73) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liu Bolin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Hand in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 46,915.17).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2019 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Hiding in the City #54", 2007 von Liu Bolin zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.684,73) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Bolin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Hand im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 46.915,17).
