Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paul, Stella and James, Scotland by Linda McCartney was auctioned at Phillips in London in May 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,850.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Linda McCartney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work My Love, London, 1978 in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,250.84).

Die Arbeit Paul, Stella and James, Scotland von Linda McCartney kam im Mai 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.850,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
