Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled Self-Portrait by Linda McCartney was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 441.00 (€ 517.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Linda McCartney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Love, London, 1978 in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,250.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled Self-Portrait von Linda McCartney wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 441,00 (€ 517,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Linda McCartney erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Love, London, 1978 im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.250,84).
