Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Interiors, which included the work Focus Xii A by Lin Tianmiao. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,136.27) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lin Tianmiao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Initiator in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 967,500.00 (€ 79,734.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Focus Xii A von Lin Tianmiao zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.136,27) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lin Tianmiao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Initiator im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 967.500,00 (€ 79.734,23).
